Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SSO) fighters successfully targeted Russian military personnel and equipment in the Donetsk region, employing FPV drones. According to a statement released on the SSO’s Telegram channel, the operation led to the elimination of nine Russian soldiers and injuries to four others. Additionally, the Ukrainian forces managed to disable two infantry fighting vehicles (BMPs) and one armored personnel carrier (BTR), effectively reducing the operational capabilities of the opposing forces. The released footage provided visual confirmation of the strikes on the Russian equipment and personnel, showcasing the drones’ direct hits and subsequent explosions.

The precise timing and location of the operation were not independently verified, and the analysis of the footage does not conclusively determine the types of Russian military equipment destroyed. This operation adds to a series of successful engagements by the Ukrainian Special Ops, which have previously utilized FPV drones for reconnaissance and direct action missions, achieving significant results against Russian military assets and personnel.
