Ukrainian forces attacked a Russian coast guard base in western Crimea using a combination of aerial and maritime drones. The strike targeted Russian military installations at Lake Donuzlav, inflicting damage on a command center, an ammunition depot, and other critical infrastructure. This coordinated assault was carried out by the Ukrainian Navy and the Security Service of Ukraine.

The Russian military responded by claiming to have intercepted 33 aerial drones and 10 naval drones. At the time of the attack, Russia’s Black Sea Fleet was conducting exercises near Lake Donuzlav. Despite these exercises, Ukrainian drones managed to strike significant military targets, including the headquarters overseeing the coast guard base and various technical and power facilities.
