The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) conducted a successful drone operation in the Donetsk region, resulting in the elimination of nine Russian soldiers and the disabling of multiple armored vehicles. The operation, detailed in a report shared via the SSO’s official Telegram channel, again involved the use of first-person view (FPV) drones.
According to the report, during the operation, Ukrainian SSO personnel from the 8th separate SSO regiment engaged Russian military assets, destroying two infantry fighting vehicles and one armored personnel carrier. The operation also resulted in three Russian soldiers being wounded.

This recent operation adds to a series of successful uses of FPV drones by the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces. Earlier reports indicated that SSO units had destroyed a Russian T-72 tank and other heavy equipment, and had also targeted a Russian field ammunition warehouse in the southern region.
