Footage circulating online shows two Russian soldiers stripped to their underwear and tied to trees by commanders after allegedly abandoning their posts and refusing orders.
One soldier is seen being forced to eat snow while enduring profanities.

In the video, the apparent commander can be heard shouting: “These idiots tried to leave their positions without permission, refusing to follow orders,” before launching into a string of profanities.
Russian independent media outlet Verstka, citing testimonies from former servicemen, previously reported that beatings, humiliation, and other forms of torture are used against soldiers who refuse to participate in assaults or disobey orders.
The leaked footage emerges amid months of peace talks aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine war.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has insisted he will not withdraw his troops unless Ukraine cedes part of its territory. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has firmly rejected Putin’s demand.
