The video, posted by state-owned news agency TASS, shows three North Korean soldiers moving through a damaged building, armed with Russian AK-12 rifles and 1P87 optics. They are seen firing RPG-26 rockets at another building while exposed in the open.
The footage ends with North Korean and Russian soldiers raising their national flags and placing flowers on a wreath.

The videos were released after Russia and North Korea confirmed the deployment of North Korean troops in Kursk. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un authorized the deployment under Article 4 of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, signed with Russia in June 2024.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to North Korea for its support. In a statement on the Kremlin’s website, Putin said that North Korean troops, “shoulder to shoulder with Russian fighters, defended our Motherland as their own.”
“Russian people will never forget the heroism of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea special forces,” Putin also said.
