The Special Operations Forces of Ukraine have released information via their press service indicating that snipers from the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment have been actively engaging Russian troops at the Avdiivka front. The snipers, detecting movements of Russian soldiers within their operational scope, initiated fire, resulting in the elimination of all identified Russian combatants.

A sniper operating under the codename “Vyshnia” (Cherry) provided insights into their operational focus, stating their primary tasks include providing cover for Ukrainian units, neutralizing Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups, and destroying enemy observation posts within their area of responsibility. Vyshnia emphasized the importance of their coordinated actions in successfully accomplishing combat missions.
