Special units of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a comprehensive two-day counter-terrorism operation in the city of Tulkarm. The operation, which concluded yesterday, targeted multiple suspected hideouts of Palestinian militants involved in recent attacks against Israeli targets.
The IDF reported that the operation resulted in the deaths of 14 Palestinian fighters and the arrest of 25 others. Additionally, security forces uncovered and confiscated a significant cache of explosives and firearms during the raids.

According to the IDF, seven soldiers and one police officer were wounded over the course of the operation. The injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening, with the affected personnel receiving treatment at a nearby military hospital.
The IDF has stated that this operation was necessary to dismantle a network of militants that had been planning and executing attacks from Tulkarm. The military emphasized that the operation was conducted after extensive intelligence gathering and was aimed at preventing future threats to Israeli security.
