Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the operation and said the targeted rail network had been used by the IRGC to move missile launchers between locations to avoid detection by Israeli and American forces.
“We are targeting the railways and bridges used by the Revolutionary Guards,” Netanyahu said. “They use them to transport raw materials for weapons, weapons, and the operatives who attack us, the US, and also the countries of the region.”
