On Sunday evening, the IDF reported that two projectiles were fired from Lebanon towards the Mount Dov area in northern Israel. Earlier in the day, the IDF had identified and monitored a Hezbollah operative entering a military compound in Ayta ash Shab, which they later targeted.
Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen TV reported that Hezbollah launched dozens of Katyusha rockets from southern Lebanon at Israel’s Meron Air Base on Saturday. This attack was described as a retaliation for previous Israeli strikes on the Lebanese villages of Qaouzah and Markaba, and the town of Sarbin. According to Israeli sources, these rocket attacks resulted in damage to a major radar site within an Israeli military base.

Additionally, a significant number of missiles were fired towards several settlements in the Mount Meron area of the Upper Galilee, including Safsofa, Hagnoz, Kfar Hosh, and Bar Yoha. In a statement, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem linked these actions to broader regional tensions, asserting that support for Gaza has thwarted Israeli military plans in Palestinian territories and southern Lebanon. Sheikh Qassem criticized ceasefire proposals that do not include comprehensive halts to hostilities, claiming they would only enable further Israeli aggression.
