Houthi rebels in Yemen have released footage that purportedly shows the downing of an American MQ-9 Reaper drone. The drone was brought down over Saada province, a stronghold for the Houthi movement. This event represents the third instance of a U.S. drone being downed in the region since the beginning of increased hostilities in Gaza.
The MQ-9 Reaper is a significant asset in U.S. military operations, primarily used for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, often equipped with precision-guided munitions.
