The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced a milestone achievement with the INS Magen, a Sa’ar 6-class corvette, successfully intercepting a hostile unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with the “C-Dome” missile system in the Gulf of Eilat. This marks the first operational success of the “C-Dome” system aboard a missile ship. Deployed in the strategic Red Sea area, IDF’s Sa’ar 6-class corvettes like the INS Magen are equipped for both defensive and offensive operations to counter regional threats.
