It is not clear when the clashes occurred. The video has not been independently verified.
The footage emerged days after local media reported that a video recovered from a captured Colombian mercenary’s phone showed Colombian fighters alongside the RSF at Nyala Airport in South Darfur, an area under RSF control.

The emergence of the videos comes after Sudan accused the United Arab Emirates (UAE) of sending Colombian mercenaries to Sudan to support the RSF in the country’s civil war.
Last week, Sudan’s air force claimed via state TV that it had destroyed a UAE aircraft believed to be carrying Colombian mercenaries as it landed at Nyala Airport, killing 40 people on board.
A UAE official told AFP that the report was “entirely false” and part of Sudan’s “ongoing campaign of disinformation and deflection.”
