The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) targeted and destroyed a Russian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile complex. The operation was conducted by the 3rd Separate Regiment of the SSO, which identified the missile system during a reconnaissance mission in one of the most active conflict zones.
The coordinates of the Buk-M1 were relayed to a missile artillery unit of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which executed the strike. According to the SSO’s report shared via Telegram, the missile system was destroyed before it could launch. Drone footage accompanying the report showed the missile system being hit, resulting in a large explosion.
