Ukrainian Special Operations Forces have successfully destroyed Russian observation posts in the southern direction, as reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Facebook. The operation, involving the use of a thermal imaging drone and a direct assault by Special Operators, resulted in the elimination of enemy positions and personnel.
During a reconnaissance mission in the south, the 73rd Marine Special Operations Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces identified and targeted Russian observation posts using a UAV equipped with a thermal imaging drone and a drop system. This initial attack was followed by a ground assault by Special Forces, who braved heavy artillery fire to close in on and neutralize the enemy positions. The operation culminated in the destruction of the observation posts and the elimination of five Russian soldiers, enhancing Ukrainian control over the area. Meanwhile, the Zhytomyr City Council reported that local businessmen donated two fully equipped Volkswagen Transporter trucks to the military, sourced from Denmark, to aid in transportation and logistics efforts on the frontline.
