A recent operation by Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) in the North-Slobozhanskyi direction resulted in the deaths of at least seven Russian soldiers and the capture of Russian-held positions in the area.
According to SOF’s Telegram post, the mission was executed by operators from the 73rd Marine Center in coordination with personnel from the 144th Special Operations Center.
According to the report, Ukrainian operatives approached the Russian-held position and offered the enemy multiple chances to surrender. When the troops refused, the Ukrainian unit launched a swift and coordinated assault, eliminating the opposing forces.
Documents and weapons were recovered from the site.
One Ukrainian soldier was wounded during the operation but received medical treatment and is in stable condition.
The SOF credited the success of the mission to meticulous planning, effective coordination, and the professionalism of all personnel involved.
