The images, provided by California-based imaging company Planet Labs and obtained by open-source intelligence analyst Brady Africk, were shared on social media. The photos, dated April 11 and June 22, depict two large warehouses bisected by a road. The June 22 images reveal one warehouse completely destroyed and the other severely damaged. These visuals confirm the impact of Ukraine’s drone strike on June 21.
Kyiv’s Navy officials stated that the operation was executed in collaboration with Ukrainian intelligence agencies. They reported the destruction of storage and preparation facilities, training buildings, and control and communication points for the Shahed-136/Geran-2 drones. The attack site is located near the Sea of Azov, opposite the occupied Ukrainian city of Mariupol.
The governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported further Ukrainian drone attacks over the weekend, which killed one person and injured three others. Meanwhile, Kyiv also faced Russian missile and drone attacks, resulting in two injuries and damage to multiple residential buildings.
