A Ukrainian logistics driver successfully evacuated a damaged U.S.-made M1224 MaxxPro Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle from an active combat zone despite the vehicle operating on only three wheels.
In a Telegram post, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (GUR) reported that the Timur Special Unit conducted a combat mission along the Kupiansk axis, during which Russian fire disabled their armored vehicle.
A logistics unit soldier decided to save the vehicle. After inspecting it on-site and confirming the engine was still functional, he managed to evacuate the MaxxPro, despite it being on three wheels.
Footage recorded by drone units showed the MRAP swerving under difficult conditions, yet staying on course until it reached safety.

The MaxxPro, built by Navistar Defense, is designed to protect against roadside bombs, landmines, and small-arms fire.As part of its military aid packages, the U.S. has supplied Ukraine with over 200 MRAP vehicles, though some have already been damaged or lost in combat.
