The Ravlyk unmanned ground vehicle, (UGV) developed by Ukrainian Unmanned Technologies, has been transformed into a combat-ready platform through the integration of the Wolly 12.7 combat module, which is armed with a U.S.-made M2 Browning 12.7mm machine gun.
The news was announced this week by Ukrainian tech firm DevDroid, creator of Wholly 12.7 combat module.
“We integrated the Wolly 12.7 combat module from DevDroid onto the Ravlyk UGV. As a result, the mobile platform can now perform not only logistics tasks but also reconnaissance and strike missions,” the company wrote on Facebook.
A video uploaded by DevDroid shows the upgraded Ravlyk, now named Droid Raw 12.7, in action.
“The Wolly 12.7 combat module from DevDroid is a solution that is already delivering results on the battlefield every day, and we are now ready to integrate our combat module onto any UGV platform from Ukrainian manufacturers,” DevDroid said.
The company said the new system features thermal, narrow-angle, and wide-angle cameras, along with automatic targeting software. DevDroid states the weaponized unit can engage targets up to 1 kilometer away.
Ukrainian robotics developer DevDroid LLC, together with the manufacturer of the Ravlyk unmanned ground vehicle, has created a reconnaissance and strike robotic system called Droid Raw 12.7.
The company announced it in a press release issued to Defender Media.

The Wolly 12.7 module also supports KT-7.62 (PKT) guns and is deployed on other unmanned systems. Its remote operation is designed to minimize personnel exposure in combat zones.
Ukraine continues to advance its ground robotics capabilities. The Ministry of Defense recently approved the DODGER platform for evacuation and engineering tasks.
Meanwhile, Bravo Dynamics’ Phantom 3.0 mesh system delivers GPS-independent communications for UGVs across distances of up to 80 kilometers, strengthening frontline operations against electronic warfare.
