President Donald Trump warned Iran that time is running out to negotiate a nuclear deal, saying a massive U.S. fleet led by the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, is moving toward the country and prepared to act “with speed and violence if necessary.”
“Hopefully Iran will quickly ‘come to the table’ and negotiate a fair and equitable deal – no nuclear weapons – one that is good for all parties. Time is running out, it is truly of the essence! Trump said in a Truth Social post.
He added that he had previously told Iran to make a deal before Operation Midnight Hammer, a U.S. operation last year that destroyed several Iranian nuclear sites, and warned that “the next attack will be far worse.”
“Don’t make that happen again,” he further told Iran.
According to Axios, any potential agreement would require Iran to eliminate all enriched uranium, limit its long-range missile arsenal, curb support for regional proxy groups, and halt independent uranium enrichment—demands Iranian leaders have so far rejected.
Hours after Trump’s remarks, Ali Shamkhani, an adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, warned that Tehran would respond immediately to any U.S. military action.
“Any military action by the United States, from any location and at any level, will be considered the start of a war,” Ali Shamkhani said, according to state-run news agency, IRNA. “The response will be immediate, comprehensive and unprecedented. The aggressor, the heart of Tel Aviv and all those who support the aggressor will be targeted.”

I don’t know what it will take to effect regime change in Iran but I know the President will do that and more to make it a success.
