The 52-kg, fifth-generation missiles, produced by Poly Defense, cost about 3.53 million baht (USD 95,000) each and were unveiled at this year’s EDEX arms show in Egypt.
According to Defence Blog, the GAM-102LR is a “fire-and-forget” weapon equipped with an advanced homing seeker for high-precision strikes and capable of operating in Lock-On After Launch mode. The system also supports man-in-the-loop control, allowing operators to retarget the missile while it is in flight.
Meanwhile, heavy fighting between Thailand and Cambodia entered a second week on Monday, with Phnom Penh claiming Thai F-16s dropped two bombs near camps for displaced people in Chong Kal district in the Oddar Meanchey province and the Srei Snam district in the Siem Reap province.
Photos and videos circulating on social media show children fleeing a school in Srei Snam District and families evacuating after Thai military forces reportedly dropped bombs nearby. These reports have not been independently verified.
At 10:08 am on December 15, Thai military forces used F-16 aircraft to drop two bombs in the areas of Chong Kal District and Srei Snam District, Siem Reap Province, near refugee camps, penetrating more than 100 kilometers into Cambodian territory.

As of Monday, renewed fighting has resulted in 15 civilian deaths in Cambodia, while Thailand has reported 16 soldiers and nine civilians killed.
The clashes have continued despite U.S. President Donald Trump saying on Friday that leaders of Thailand and Cambodia had agreed to halt the renewed fighting.
The two countries signed a peace agreement in October in Kuala Lumpur, attended by Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, but it was later suspended after Thai soldiers were seriously injured in a landmine explosion in a border province.
