Raytheon Awarded $49 Million Contract for Ammunition Procurement

Four major contracts have been awarded by various branches of the U.S. military. Raytheon Co. has been awarded a $49 million contract for ammunition procurement, with work to be determined by each order.

Four major contracts have been awarded by various branches of the U.S. military. Raytheon Co. has been awarded a $49 million contract for ammunition procurement, with work to be determined by each order. Charles Stark Draper Laboratory Inc. has a $16.2 million contract for technology miniaturization research and development for the Navy. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. has received an $11.7 million order for conversion kits to modify air vehicles for the Navy. Threat Tec-Yorktown Systems Group JV LLC has been awarded a $33.5 million modification for intelligence support services for the Army.
  

Key Points: 

  1. Raytheon’s Contract: Raytheon Co., located in Tucson, Arizona, was awarded a hybrid contract worth $49,038,625 for the procurement of ammunition. The completion date is set for August 2, 2028, and the Army Contracting Command in Newark, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.
  2. Charles Stark Draper Laboratory’s Contract: This company, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, received a $16,213,123 contract for miniaturization technology insertion and other R&D support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. The work is to be completed by July 31, 2028.
  3. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems’ Order: Located in Poway, California, the company was awarded an $11,717,322 firm-fixed-price order for 10 conversion kits in support of modifying 10 MQ-9A air vehicles for the Navy. The work is expected to be finished by February 2026.
  4. Threat Tec-Yorktown Systems Group’s Contract Modification: This Virginia-based joint venture was awarded a $33,515,709 modification to provide intelligence operational environment and core functions support services at Fort Eustis, Virginia, with an estimated completion date of August 9, 2025.
