The recent force-wide Osprey stand-down due to a fatal crash has impacted the use of the aircraft for operations and training across the globe, particularly in the Middle East, Europe, and the Pacific. The US Marine Corps and Air Force have confirmed that they are limiting the use of Ospreys during maintenance and inspections. This comes as global tensions continue to rise, highlighting the importance of the Osprey’s role in military operations. Despite these limitations, the Osprey remains a vital asset for military forces around the world.
