North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has announced his New Year’s resolution, revealing plans to develop more nuclear materials, launch three military satellites in 2024, and advance their attack drone capabilities. During a meeting with the ruling Worker’s Party in Pyongyang, Kim criticized the United States for expansionist activities in Asia, particularly mentioning joint military exercises with South Korea. North Korea aims to bolster its “overwhelming war response capability.” Kim has also been actively engaging with regional allies, Russia and China, as North Korea continues to escalate tensions through missile launches and threats.
