New Contracts for Entrust Manufacturing and Stevens Institute to Advance Military Technology and Training

Entrust Manufacturing Technologies Inc. has been awarded a $9,101,870 firm-fixed-price contract to manufacture a new guided bore for cannon tube production, with work set to be completed by October 2024.

Entrust Manufacturing Technologies Inc. has been awarded a $9,101,870 firm-fixed-price contract to manufacture a new guided bore for cannon tube production, with work set to be completed by October 2024. In a separate contract, the Trustees of the Stevens Institute of Technology have been granted a $24,499,997 cost-plus-fixed-fee task order to conduct research for the Defense Civilian Training Corps, as mandated by the Fiscal 2023 National Defense Authorization Act, to develop curricula addressing critical skills gaps in areas such as digital technologies and science. 

  

Key Points: 

  1. Entrust Manufacturing Technologies Inc. in Menomonee, Wisconsin, won a $9,101,870 firm-fixed-price contract for the production of a new guided bore for cannon tubes. The work is to be carried out in Watervliet, New York, with a completion date set for October 2024.
  2. The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, and was funded by the Fiscal 2023 other procurement, Army funds.
  3. The Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, has been awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee task order of $24,499,997 to conduct research for the Defense Civilian Training Corps. The task is congressionally mandated under Section 833 of the Fiscal 2023 National Defense Authorization Act.
  4. The research aims to establish a pilot program targeting critical skills gaps in the Department of Defense’s civilian workforce. The curriculum to be developed will focus on areas such as acquisition, digital technologies, critical technologies, science, engineering, finance, and other occupations.
  5. The work will be carried out at the Stevens Institute of Technology and the Information Sciences Institute at the University of Southern California, with an estimated completion date of October 20, 2023. The contract was awarded by Washington Headquarters Services, Arlington, Virginia.
