Reading for mind-expansion and seeking out difficult books are critical to a good education. The recommendation is to read one or two challenging books each year, even if it means reading slowly. The author’s daily routine includes reading in the morning, at lunch and dinner, and before bed, finding joy and refreshment in the practice.
