Summary: Iran’s IRGC Navy has released a video displaying the launch of Dezful medium-range ballistic missiles from mobile platforms and the “Iranian Hellfire” missile from speedboats.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGC-N) executed a missile launch operation, deploying Dezful medium-range ballistic missiles from the Shahid Mahdavi ship stationed in the Gulf of Oman. The missiles reportedly traveled over 750 kilometers to accurately strike predetermined targets within Iran’s central desert region. The Dezful missile, part of the Fateh missile family, similar to the Fateh 110 and Zulfiqar missiles, was first unveiled in February 2019.
The launch was conducted from a modified container ship, the Shahid Mahdavi, which has been repurposed for military use. This ship, a former Panamax container vessel, has been equipped to function as a mobile missile launch platform.

Additionally, the IRGC-N simulated an attack on a major Israeli airbase, using long-range ballistic missiles, Emad and Qadr, launched from the Shahid Mahdavi ship. This simulation aimed to demonstrate Iran’s missile precision and reach.
The IRGC has also released video footage showcasing the launch of a new missile, the Qaim-114, by IRGC speedboats. Dubbed the “Iranian Hellfire,” this missile is reported to have a range of up to 20 kilometers for anti-surface operations.
