The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the detention of more than 100 terror suspects during a search operation at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. Special forces, including the Maglan and Egoz units, conducted the operation, which also resulted in the death of several Hamas operatives around the hospital premises. The forces reportedly discovered an array of weaponry, including mortars and grenades, linked to Hamas, alongside medications labeled with hostages’ names.

Contrary to claims by Hamas, the IDF stated that they were not responsible for generator failures that lead to patient fatalities due to power outages, the IDF claimed that the disruption was due to a generator malfunction. The IDF reports that special commando units facilitated  the repair and replacement of the generator in coordination with hospital administration.
