Footage from northwestern Israel captured the moment an Israeli fighter aircraft and an Iron Dome interceptor missile, both attempted to down a “suicide” drone launched by Hezbollah from southern Lebanon. The video, shared widely on social media, shows an Israeli fighter jet maneuvering to engage the drone while an Iron Dome missile streaks across the sky in an effort to intercept the same target.
Hezbollah has increasingly relied on drones as part of its strategy against Israel. These unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are often equipped with explosives and used for reconnaissance or direct attacks.
