Collins Aerospace, Capps Shoe Co., 3M Co., and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems have each been awarded defense contracts of varying amounts. The contracts cover services including life-cycle contractor support for the Tactical Mission Network, the supply of dress shoes for various military services, medical surgical products, and modifications to the Liberty Lifter program. Each of these contracts has a different end date, with some extending through 2024.
- Collins Aerospace Inc. was awarded a $62 million contract to provide life-cycle contractor support for the Tactical Mission Network for the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), most of the work will be performed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
- Capps Shoe Co. received a $15.1 million modification to a base contract, extending it for another year. The company will supply men’s and women’s leather dress shoes to the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
- 3M Co. has been awarded a maximum $46.7 million contract to provide various medical surgical products. This contract extends through July 2024 and is expected to serve Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.
- General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. received a $21.5 million modification to a contract for the Liberty Lifter program. The work, to be performed in Poway, California, has an estimated completion date of July 2024.
