A leaked classified Pentagon document has revealed that over a dozen American military special forces were operating in Ukraine earlier this year. The document, dated March 23, disclosed that 14 US special forces were present at the time it was written. Additionally, another leaked document from February 28 stated that a total of 97 special forces from NATO countries were active in Ukraine, including 50 British, 14 Latvians, 14 Americans, 15 French, and one soldier from the Netherlands. It remains unclear what the forces were doing or where they were stationed. US officials have stated that no American special forces in Ukraine have engaged in combat.
