Widely circulated video footage purportedly shows an Iranian ballistic missile striking Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia, impacting near the position of U.S. servicemembers. Personnel at the base reported only minor injuries, according to accounts accompanying the footage.
The base sits approximately 62 miles southeast of Riyadh and hosts both Saudi and U.S. military forces, including American aircraft. Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry announced it intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles launched toward the installation.
The ministry’s statement made no mention of any munitions reaching the base, leaving the video’s claims unconfirmed by official sources.
