A video circulating online is believed to show Amhara Fano militiamen firing a tripod-mounted single-shot weapon, reportedly aimed at an Ethiopian Republican Guard position near Termaber.
The footage does not reveal the target, and there are no confirmed reports of casualties or damage. The claims made in the video, which was uploaded by an open-source account, have not been independently verified.

As seen in the video, the improvised device appears to lack an aiming system or any identifiable markings. Its origin and capabilities remain unknown.
Fano, an Amhara ethno-nationalist militia, has been engaged in armed conflict with federal forces since a government-led disarmament campaign in 2023 sparked widespread violence. Termaber continues to be a flashpoint in the ongoing clashes.
Neither the Ethiopian government nor the Republican Guard has commented on the video.
