The Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a video demonstrating the use of FPV (First-Person View) kamikaze drones by the 8th Separate Special Forces Regiment against Russian military positions. During a reconnaissance mission on one of the front sectors, Ukrainian operators identified and targeted a Russian mortar position and nearby personnel with precision strikes from these drones.

The video captures the moments when the drones, operated by the Separate Special Operations Center West (8th SOF Regiment), approached the Russian forces. Attempts by the Russian soldiers to evade the incoming drones were largely unsuccessful, with the footage showing direct hits and near misses that resulted in casualties and equipment damage. According to the Ukrainian military, this operation led to the elimination of five Russian troops and the wounding of four others. Additionally, the strikes destroyed an 82mm mortar position and damaged an enemy Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV).
