Ukraine’s military intelligence said its forces destroyed Russian radar installations, including systems concealed beneath protective domes, in a recent strike in occupied Crimea, the agency’s press service announced on Thursday.
According to the Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR), the operation was carried out by its “Prymary” unit using first-person-view (FPV) drones launched from uncrewed surface vessels (USVs). GUR did not disclose the date of the operation.
Footage of the strike shows drones evading at least two Pantsir-S1 missile launches before hitting a Russian Project 02510 “BK-16” landing craft and destroying multiple radar systems concealed inside a dome.

As seen in the video, the strike destroyed Nebo-SVU, a long-range radar designed to detect aircraft and ballistic missiles; the Podlet-K1, used for tracking low-flying targets; and the 96L6E, a mobile radar for airspace surveillance.
GUR said Russian forces started concealing high-value systems inside dome structures after earlier losses from Ukrainian strikes.
Meanwhile, earlier on Thursday, Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed it had downed 18 drones over Crimea between 6:20 and 10:35 a.m. Moscow time.
The recent Ukrainian operation came just days after the Security Service of Ukraine struck a Su-30SM fighter jet and three Su-24 bombers at Russia’s Saky military airfield in occupied Crimea.
