Three Dead, Five Critically Injured as US Marine Osprey Crashes in Australia

A U.S. Marine Corps Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey aircraft crashed on Melville Island in north Australia during a multinational training exercise, resulting in three confirmed deaths and critically injuring at least five individuals. The injured were swiftly transported to Darwin for medical attention. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with recovery efforts ongoing. Witnesses reported significant smoke and fire emanating from the crash site.
