Ukrainian Special Operations Forces successfully ambushed and destroyed a Russian boat during a combat mission in Kherson Oblast.

The Special Operations Forces (SOF) of Ukraine recently carried out a successful combat mission on an island in Kherson Oblast, where they ambushed and destroyed a Russian boat. During a reconnaissance mission, the SOF soldiers heard a boat approaching them along the river, which turned out to be a group of Russian soldiers. The Ukrainian SOF quickly opened fire, killing the commander and boatman of the Russian group. The incident was confirmed by intelligence data. Fortunately, the Ukrainian fighters were unharmed despite the return fire from the Russians. The Ukrainian soldiers disabled the enemy boat, which caught fire and retreated into the marshes. The following day, the SOF fighters approached the damaged boat and completed their mission.
