Two Russian cruise missiles struck an American-owned electronics facility in Ukraine’s Zakarpattia region early Thursday, injuring at least 15 people, Ukrainian officials said.
The factory, operated by Flex Ltd., a Texas-based electronics manufacturer, is located near Mukachevo, roughly 30 miles from NATO borders with Hungary and Slovakia. The site produced consumer items like coffee machines and had no military links.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the strike “very telling” in light of President Donald Trump’s push to pressure Moscow to end the war.
“The Russians carried out this attack as if nothing had changed at all, as if there were no global efforts to stop this war,” Zelenskyy said. “There is still no signal from Moscow that they truly intend to engage in substantive negotiations and end this war. Pressure is needed. Strong sanctions, strong tariffs.”
Last night, the Russian army set one of its insane anti-records. They targeted civilian infrastructure facilities, residential buildings, and our people.

Trump has yet to respond publicly to the strike but posted on Truth Social: “It is very hard, if not impossible, to win a war without attacking an invader’s country… Interesting times ahead!”
The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia launched 574 drones and 40 missiles overnight, most of which were intercepted. Strikes hit energy facilities, homes, and a kindergarten across Ukraine, killing one person and injuring more than a dozen, according to authorities.
