The U.S. has reported that Russia has received short-range ballistic missiles from Iran, which could be deployed in Ukraine within weeks, according to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. These Fath-360 missiles, capable of striking targets up to 75 miles away, are expected to boost Russia’s ability to conserve its more valuable long-range weaponry.
While Iran denies providing the missiles, international concerns over growing military cooperation between Tehran and Moscow have escalated. The U.S. and European countries have imposed additional sanctions on Iran in response to this development, warning that the missile transfers pose a threat to European security.
