Mexican authorities are investigating a brutal massacre in the southwestern state of Guerrero, following a violent clash between two rival criminal groups. Police discovered five burned bodies stacked on a burned vehicle in Buenavista de los Hurtado. Local media, citing social media footage allegedly shared by the Familia Michoacana group, report that 30 people died in a drone attack. The graphic footage shows heavily armed men in military attire piling bodies, some dismembered, onto a bullet-ridden pickup. The video, which garnered over 3 million views on a social media platform, could not be independently verified by Reuters. Authorities confirmed the ongoing feud between Familia Michoacana and Los Tlacos for area control. No additional crimes were found at the site, and villagers declined to provide DNA samples for identifying the remains​​​
