The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) began daily 10-hour pauses in military activity Sunday in three areas of Gaza to allow humanitarian aid deliveries.
According to IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee, the suspension of combat activities runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time in three key areas: Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balah, and Gaza City.
Secure corridors have also been established daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., enabling United Nations and international organization convoys to safely deliver and distribute food and medicine to residents of the Gaza Strip.

The announcement followed an Israeli airdrop of humanitarian supplies into Gaza.
In a post on X on Sunday, Adraee said 28 humanitarian aid packages, which reportedly included flour, sugar, and canned food, were airdropped for the residents of the southern and northern Gaza Strip “in the past few hours.”
Meanwhile, in a statement on X, the IDF denied claims of starvation in Gaza. “The IDF emphasizes that there is no starvation in Gaza; this is a false campaign promoted by Hamas.”
“Responsibility for food distribution lies with the UN & international aid organizations. Therefore, the UN and international organizations are expected to improve the effectiveness of aid distribution and to ensure that the aid does not reach Hamas,” the IDF added.
