In continuation of its continuous assistance that has already exceeded 1% of Estonia’s GDP, Estonia has announced new military help, including sniper weapons and specialized equipment, valued at 494,300 euros ($527,000), for Ukraine’s defense against Russia.
Estonia has announced further military aid for Ukraine in its ongoing conflict with Russia, including sniper rifles, semi-automatic rifles, ammunition, patrol boats, medical equipment, thermal cameras, binoculars, and other special equipment. The aid package is valued at 494,300 euros ($527,000). Estonia has already provided 400 million euros ($426 million) of military assistance to Ukraine, which represents over 1% of Estonia’s gross domestic product. The Estonian Defense Minister emphasized the importance of continuing to provide targeted aid packages to Ukraine, including the joint procurement of a million artillery shells by the European Union. This latest aid package is a continuation of Estonia’s previous donations of mortars, anti-tank capabilities, winter uniforms, personal protective equipment, howitzers, and grenade launchers to Ukraine.
