An Iranian ballistic missile struck multiple locations in central Israel on Monday, killing one man and seriously wounding two others, according to Israeli emergency officials.
Cluster munitions were reportedly used in the attack. The weapons release multiple smaller explosive submunitions over a broad area, which can increase the risk to people on the ground.

Israel’s emergency service Magen David Adom said the casualties occurred after the missile dispersed cluster munitions that hit at least six sites, including Yehud, Or Yehuda, Holon, and Bat Yam.
Footage circulating online shows craters in the ground and damage to nearby vehicles and buildings following the attack.

The Israel Electric Corporation said missile strikes damaged power infrastructure at several sites across northern and central Israel, leading to outages in multiple areas.
Repair crews have been dispatched to assess the damage and work on restoring electricity.
The missile strike coincided with continued Iranian attacks targeting Israeli and Gulf infrastructure.
Earlier Monday, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) said it carried out strikes on multiple Iranian military targets linked to long-range ballistic missile operations and infrastructure associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Among the locations hit were security and military facilities in Isfahan, including headquarters used by Iran’s Internal Security Force, a police command center tied to the IRGC, a base operated by the Basij militia, and a facility involved in manufacturing rocket engines.

In a separate update, the military said it also struck a command site used to operate unmanned aerial vehicles, alleging the location had been used to launch drones toward Israel and to store additional UAVs intended for future attacks.
