An Israeli airstrike in Syria has killed a senior advisor of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, named Sayyed Razi Mousavi. He was responsible for coordinating the military alliance between Syria and Iran. The Israeli military has declined to comment on the incident, but stated their purpose is to protect the security interests of Israel. Iran’s state television interrupted their regular news broadcast to announce Mousavi’s death.
