Top leaders and changing the long practiced hierarchy, providing leadership opportunities across the board, with the idea that with more autonomy, comes more innovation. Kate Isaacs, a MIT lecturer said that top leaders aren’t expected to be the “smartest in the room.” “but rather to architect the gameboard where as many people as possible have permission to contribute the best of their expertise, their knowledge, their skills, and their ideas.”
