Who Dares Wins’ Jason Fox: ‘My Special Forces mindset means I never wanted to buy a home | Telegraph

Must Read

Former Royal Marine Commando and sergeant in the exclusive Special Boat Service Jason Fox, 46, was medically released from the military after 20 years of service due to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). For the new television program called SAS: Who Dares Wins, Channel 4 was looking for ex-servicemen. Jason was asked if he wanted to participate, and the offer was too fantastic to pass up. His past accomplishments include completing one of the most challenging courses in the British military. He joined the Special Forces after serving for nine years because he wanted to engage in senior-level warfare. In 2018 he spent time within drug cartels in Mexico, Columbia and Peru for television show Meet the Drug Lords: Inside the Real Narcos, and in 2019 returned to Afghanistan for Foxy’s War: Return to Afghanistan. In addition, he wrote two books. Battle Scars, an autobiography in which he discussed his battle with mental illness, was the number one bestseller on The Sunday Times list.
