It appears as though artificial intelligence is suddenly prevalent everywhere: A few weeks ago, a buddy casually revealed that his law professor had advised students not to use AI to cheat on an impending exam.
Several generative AI models, such as ChatGPT and the Stable Diffusion image generator, are now available online and can be accessed for free or at a low cost. As a result, anyone in the world can now create anything from computer code to a children’s book with just a few clicks, so homework will need to change. If and when this AI becomes widely used, it might be quite challenging to decipher. The main danger posed by this technology may thus be that it has the potential to alter the world before we have a chance to fully comprehend it.
