In support of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Robert Bruce Adolph, a former lieutenant colonel in the US Army Special Forces, served as the UN’s Chief Security Advisor led a small international team into the Ukraine region surrounding Bucha (OSCE).
As part of the Russian Army’s failed attempt to march into Kiev to overturn and replace the elected government, Bucha was located within the invasion route. I first noticed the effects of the war crimes done by Putin’s army here. The civilian populace is targeted via summary killings, mass graves for non-combatants, the use of people as human shields, torture, sexual assault (rape), hostage-taking, and the deliberate damage of civil infrastructure, including the electrical grid.
