Ukrainian Special Operations bombed the Russian Military Headquarters in Ukraine on Tuesday.
According to military authorities, Ukraine’s “Kraken” Special Operations team attacked a Russian headquarters in an undisclosed part of Ukraine on Tuesday. The Kraken is a Special Forces unit that reports to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense but is not formally a member of the country’s Armed Forces, operating in a gray area. The unit was started by former Azov member following Russia’s invasion. The group was essentially made up of gym rats, extreme soccer fans called “ultras” and former veterans and paramilitary men.
At least fourteen rockets struck the Ukrainian capital as G7 leaders met in Germany. Leaders condemned the missile attack on a commercial center as “horrific.” The world leaders are expected to accept measures to boost the number of NATO soldiers on high alert.
