Early on Saturday, the Houthis struck the Panama-flagged, Greek-owned oil tanker Wind with a ballistic missile. The U.S. Central Command confirmed the attack, stating that the missile caused flooding and a temporary loss of propulsion and steering. The crew managed to restore control, and no casualties were reported. The tanker, which had recently docked in Russia and was bound for China, resumed its journey under its own power. The British military’s UKMTO and private security firm Ambrey also acknowledged the attack, with Ambrey reporting a fire aboard the Wind.Â
