Valkyrie Systems Aerospace (VSA), a cutting-edge manufacturer of manned/unmanned aerial systems, was chosen to advance in the AFWERX HSVTOL (High-Speed Vertical and Take-Off Landing) Concept Challenge by AFWERX.
This initiative, which started in April 2021 and is in collaboration with the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), is looking for design concepts for cutting-edge High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) concepts.
AFWERX is an innovative branch of the Department of the Air Force that supports both the US Air Force and the US Space Force. It was founded in 2017 by former Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson.
